EYEWIRE, A GAME TO MAP THE BRAIN

Professor Sebastian Seung - a member of the Connectomics Consortium supported by Gatsby - and colleagues have developed an online platform for volunteers to map the 3D structure of brain cells. From this, they have illustrated how a fixed wiring diagram could be crucial for dynamic brain function.
