Gatsby Charitable Foundation at the NHS Confed Expo 2024
The NHS Confed Expo 2024 takes place in Manchester in June and promises to be a cornerstone event in the UK's health and care sector calendar.
Over 5,000 senior leaders and managers are expected to join the conference, which is focusing on key themes of system working and workforce. The Expo aims to facilitate networking, learning, and innovation, inspiring delegates to implement new ideas within their organisations. By fostering collaboration and sharing best practices, the event seeks to drive positive change at all levels of the health and care system.
Recognising the evolving landscape of training delivery and the requirements of the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan, the NHS aims to substantially increase its workforce across clinical and non-clinical roles. By embedding T Level qualifications into future workforce strategies, organisations can cultivate a diverse and skilled workforce, ensuring a sustainable future for healthcare delivery.
T Level industry placements offer a unique opportunity to attract new talent and provide valuable experience to potential future recruits. Gatsby is supporting the ICS Industry Placement Network to play a vital role in supporting organisations to implement T Level placements, by providing essential policy information, sharing approaches to placement models, and fostering collaboration between stakeholders.
Gatsby will be at the Expo at stand D28, where delegates can find out more about T Levels, and will also be hosting a breakfast session session on 13th June with an opportunity to hear from an NHS employer and T Level provider about the progression of their T Level students into health careers.
Overall, the NHS Confed Expo 2024 promises to be an exciting opportunity for healthcare leaders and professionals to come together, learn from each other, and shape the future of healthcare delivery in the UK.
